Benefits of Using a Honda Inverter Generator

November 13th, 2009

Not anything has been quite so exciting in the generator manufacturing business as the new Honda inverter Generators. Honda inverter Generators are by far the best machines for bringing you great fuel economy, quiet operation, and plenty of juice all in a light weight package. Add to this Honda’s reputation for excellent Superb, and these new Generators are great news.

For running simple things like lights and televisions, you can get along fine with just a regular portable gas generator. However, for more sensitive equipment such as computers, they are usually not sufficient. Computers, printers, and other sensitive electrical equipment need a constant, even electrical signal in order to work properly. The electricity that you get from any regular gas generator has a tendency to fluctuate up and down which isn’t a real issue for normal applications like light bulbs and television sets, but for more sensitive equipment, it can lead to serious consequences.

The Honda inverter generator is the answer to this problem. Honda has used inverter technology to make a generator which uses microprocessors to mimic the flow of electricity that would come out of your home outlet. Because of this regulated flow of electricity, you can feel perfectly confident that your computer or other electrical equipment is absolutely safe when plugged into one of these Honda Generators.

Another reason that these Generators are so totally cool is the fact that being only half the size and weight of a regular generator they provide just as much power. The alternator is built right into the Honda inverter generator, making it much more compact and light, and giving it exceptional portability. The gas economy of the Honda inverter generator is unsurpassed; one small thirty-pound model can run up to eight hrs on a single tank of gas, and a larger forty-six pound model can run up to fifteen hrs on one single tank. As far as noise level, the Honda inverter Generators run so softly that most people would not even notice that they were in use.

Although the Honda inverter generator is the most efficient generator that you will come across, you still want to make sure that you get the right model to fit your requirements. Even though the Honda inverter generator class is a lot smaller and light weight and then any of your conventional type Generators, there are still a few different models you can choose from. When it comes to the workload that they will handle, the standard rule is in effect with Honda inverter generator as the larger models will do more work than smaller ones.

When shopping for a Honda inverter generator, keep in mind the tasks that you will require it to perform, and buy accordingly. When you are visiting your Honda dealer, you should be able to get all of the help that you need from the salespeople and technicians to find the perfect generator for your needs.

Get Choice RV Generators for Sale

June 30th, 2009

If you are in the market to purchase an RV generator so that your RV becomes self-contained, and gives you instant electricity, you should be aware that there are three types of generators: a gas generator,a diesel generator, and an Lp or propane generator.

In a lot of instances with a gas generator you might run into problems rather quickly if you don’t run it often. It is a good idea to fire up your gas powered generator quite frequently in order to keep the intake and carburetor from gumming up.

When you are looking at buying any generator for your RV is a good idea to make sure that they run on compatible fuels. When the fuel tank is low, the generator will shut down automatically so the fuel does not get used up.

Since like all engines that run off of gas or diesel, your generator is going to give off carbon monoxide so you’re going to want to check the exhaust system on a regular basis. When using a portable generator, the exhaust should be tested before being used and it should be directed away from the camping or RV area.

Your generator can be used while you are traveling and in fact it is even more economical to run your air conditioning off of the generator rather than the air conditioning from the motor of the RV.

Do not run a generator in a sleep area or during the night due to the noise and the possible danger of carbon monoxide poisoning.

If you take care of your RV generator, then chances are it will outlast your RV itself, you just need to make sure that you maintain it regularly and run it frequently. If your generator sits for a while, it will run into surging problems and will eventually break down.

Water For Gas Explained

January 4th, 2009

As gas prices seem to be rising and show no signs of stopping, people are becoming concerned to the extent that they want to get better mileage per liter of gas their car consumes. For instance, two common ways to save fuel are to employ more efficient driving strategies (or hypermiling) or to organize some form of car pooling. One method that aims to get better fuel mileage is the idea of a hydrogen generator. There are many information products available now that will show you how to create and install such a system in your car. This article details the basic ideas behind the method and some considerations if you decide to buy one of these products.

The hydrogen generator that is described in these products is commonly referred to as a water to gas generator too. The system splits water (H2O) into it’s constituent elements hydrogen, hydrogen and oxygen (HHO) through electrolysis.

The process of electrolysis is simply a jar containing water and a substance, like slat, that makes a better electrolyte. Two terminals, generally made of metal, like platinum, are placed in the water. When an electric current is passed to the terminals this passes through the water solution causing a chemical reaction. The resulting chemical reaction causes hydrogen gas to go to the negative terminal and oxygen gas to go to the positive terminal.

The hydrogen gas that is created is passed into the inlet manifold of the car. Hydrogen gas put into the carburettor as an additive to gasoline has the effect of improving the efficiency of the fuel. This is thought to increase the amount of miles you get per gallon of gasoline.

Most people agree that adding hydrogen to the gasoline mix can improve the mileage you get from your automobile. However, people that dispute that these systems can make a real improvement question whether the quantity of hydrogen gas that can be produced can make a real difference. Or they question whether the energy needed to create the hydrogen gas, that comes from the cars battery which is charged by the engine, is not logical as the more energy can't be created that was initially supplied and some would have to be lost in the process.

The people selling these products disagree with these comments and believe that their methods can make a real improvement to the amount of gas you need to use each week. This will save you cash on your car's gas bills with time if you increase the mileage you get per liter of gasoline to any extent. A number of these products also include additional information that teaches you how to be more economical in your driving habits so if you take this information to heart, this may also be saving you money on gas consumption.

There are plenty of these products on the market nowadays, close to 50 last time I looked. Nearly all detail the same method. Some of the information products seem to be very similar, which implies that the creators of these products have bought the rights to the same product. Or maybe they have simply reworded or rewritten the original books.

All these products come with a guarantee of some form. So if you decide on one of these products then try to install it into your vehicle as quickly as possible. Check the changes in your fuel consumption, if you are not happy with the changes then apply for a refund.
