This public patent for making a car that runs strictly on water is said to work. Some companies from Japan say they will be able to build a car running on water only, but their technology is highly controversial among US experts. A man in 1935 actually demonstrated running a car on water for a crowd of people that has been historically noted and we all know that hydrogen is a legitimate source of energy.
