Characteristics Of Kia Dealership

February 28th, 2010

There are various car manufacturers in the world, and the mission to acquire a reputation for reliability and big name is a long one. With a lot of choices, it might appear like you must only stick with a car which has a long-standing trademark behind it.

Though you may initially think that, you should not disregard some of the newer brands. In the world marketplace the Kia motor company is a somewhat new name.

In fact, Kia Motor Compay has been in this area since the early 1940s. It’s actually the oldest car manufacturer in South Korea, but it has been enjoying a good bit of development on the world market lately.

Believe it or not all KIA dealerships are actually part of the Hyundai KIA Automotive Group. Kia vehicles were first seen in the United States in 1992, but it was on October 20th in 2006 that the first Kia plant began construction in the United States.

It was not easy for vehicles of KIA in the U.S. in the first year. It actually was not until two years once their first appearance that Kia vehicle would be found regularly. Only three years later, KIA faced another difficulty caused by the economic difficulties which were occurring in Asia.

Since then, though, Kia has experienced hard times, and eventually has finished up on top. Over the years, the dealerships of Kia started to grow, and so far there are about 640 Kia dealerships across the United States. Nevertheless, it’s not only the market of United States that Kia has managed to have a significant impact.

The dealership of Kia has been able to become a major player in the automotive industries of the United Kingdom and Europe to compete with other manufacturers like Chevy dealerships. Because of the extraordinary diversity throughout the world and many brick and mortar dealerships of Kia it’s not surprising that it has steadily improved the market share.

Although Kia Motor Company in the first appearance in the world of automotive industry simply had one model, that is Kia Sephia but it’s no longer the same.

Actually, by coming into any of Kia dealerships in your region, you’ll be pleasingly astonished by the variety of the features and models that you will obtain on them. It can be the best new car deals for you.

You will be able to choose from everything from compact vehicles to larger minivans. In fact, the Kia Sportage, an SVU, has been one of the most popular vehicles in Europe for over 16 years!

Does Your Car Need Extreme-Use Maintenance?

February 3rd, 2010

When you get your oil changed, they put that little sticker on your windshield to remind you when it’s time to get your next. The sticker always gives you a mileage of 3,000 miles or 3 months into the future, whichever comes first.3,000 miles was the old standard, but car manufacturers have improved their products in recent years. Do you really have to have an every 3,000 miles?

Most car manufacturers now recommend changing your oil every 7,500 miles or six months. However, for “severe” driving they recommend changing your oil every 3,000 miles. What is “severe” driving? If you live near the ocean or in a dusty environment, if you live in a hot or cold place, if you tow a trailer, if you do a lot of city driving or make many short trips, then your car experiences “severe” driving conditions. A lot of cars fall into that category!

We all know that over-maintaining your car is a waste of money, but oil change are cheap. You should be able to get your oil changed for about . If your car experiences any of these “severe” conditions, it’s well worth the extra a year. If you err on the side of under-maintaining your car, it’s more likely to need expensive repairs later. If you maintain your car well, it should last 200,000 miles or more. The longer you can make your current car last, the more money you’ll keep. What if you could pay your car off and then save the money that you’re no longer using for car payments. You’d be able to pay for your next car with cash!

Some people fail to get oil changes because it’s inconvenient to be without your car. But an oil change should take less than an hour if you go when the shop isn’t busy. Since an oil change is such a simple matter, every repair shop does them. Oil changes are readily available at many convenient locations, including the corner service station and even Wal Mart. If you can get an oil change done while you’re shopping, you’ll save time. There are even specialty shops that will guarantee to have you out in less than an hour! And shops are increasingly offering convenient and pleasant environments for waiting. Many offer coffee, free wi-fi and television.

I think it’s wise for most of us to get an oil change every 3,000 miles. It’s cost effective, easy and a very good idea. So find a mechanic or shop and get into the habit of regular oil changes. When your car is long since paid off and still running well, you’ll be glad you did.

Midsize Sedans…Which One Should You Be Cruising In?

January 5th, 2010

These days it can be hard to find a car that offers you a comfortable, luxury ride as well as reliability all at an affordable price. With many car manufacturers these days, the focus is on keeping materials cheap but still good looking enough to catch the consumer’s eye. This concept can often get you to buy a car and realize later that it has more problems than you bargained for amd that you should own a GM repair manual. Three cars on the market today that might catch your eye are the Chrysler Sebring, the Honda Accord, and the Mercury Milan. Before you decide to buy one of these good-looking cars make sure to do your research.

The Chrysler Sebring is offered as both a sedan and a convertible and is still reasonably priced compared to many of it´s competitors. Although this car is one of the most affordable you can find in it´s class, it´s definitely not one of the best. This Chrysler Sebring Chiltons Manual is a must buy with this vehicle. The performance is less than average and the interior is made from low quality material. Although you may be saving money by not buying a better rated family sized sedan, you won´t be getting the quality you are looking for, or the quality you would get if you invested in something a little bit more pricier. The basic models of the Sebring come with power utilities and even a CD player while the more expensive models offer a wide array of luxuries such as a leather interior. Although the performance of this car is not known to be among the best, the Sebring is known for it´s smooth ride. The brakes and handling, although nothing special, are rated average. This car also offers a good amount of leg room so you can be comfortable in the interior of your car, especially if you´re going on long rides.

Although the Honda Accord may not be famous for it´s sporty look or even for being unique, it is known for being practical and comfortable. The Honda Accord Haynes Manual is easy to follow and the car is known to be easy to drive, very safe and very comfortable. If you´re looking for something that is going to be the fastest of it´s class this is probably not the car for you. This car offers you almost everything you need, lacking almost nothing, which is hard to find in a car these days. This car is also very fuel efficient so you won´t have to worry about pulling up to the pumps even with rising gas prices. This car is also very reliable and has a very high quality interior that offers lots of extra leg room to keep you comfortable.

The Mercury Milan is known for it´s sporty look and it´s classy interior. This car is still very affordable compared to many of it´s competitors. This car can comfortable seat five people so you won´t have to worry about space. The Haynes Mercury Milan Manual is in depth and the vehicle handles great, and it is very powerful. The interior of this car is designed to fit your even need and keep you comfortable. Some people complain that this car´s steering isn´t as great as it should be, but drivers still praise the Mercury Milan´s sporty drive making it very fun to drive on the highway. While a lot of sedans these days have a spacious front seat, they lack space in the back seat making it uncomfortable for tall people to sit in the back. With the Milan, this is not the case. Very tall people can sit in the back seat without feeling cramped for leg space or head space. This car is known to be reliable and an all around good purchase.

Car manufacturers provide new car customers with warranties. The Automotive Service Managers must know what is covered by these warranties and they must also be aware of any recalls that the manufacturer has generated. They also must inform all service department staff of this information.

Typical service managers have a background in automotive repair and will most likely have worked for the dealer he is now employed by. Some dealerships hire from outside of their service staff if it does not create a conflict between employees. No matter where they have gotten their training, it is necessary that this individual has years of experience as a mechanic. Usually it is desired that this experience is on the brand of cars the dealer carries.

Most car dealers provide this individual with a good salary and compensation package. Some dealers will provide the service manager with their own demo car and they may have a full set of benefits. This position can be an excellent opportunity for a seasoned mechanic to move up to a higher level of responsibility and pay.
