ATVs And You. Which Should Be Your Hunting Buddy?

January 27th, 2010

If you´re looking for an Yamaha Kodiak three popular options are the Yamaha Kodiak, the Yamaha Grizzly, and the Bombardier Outlander. ATV´s are great if you hunt, fish, work in the woods or just want one to take joy rides on. These three ATV´s are three choices if you want an ATV to haul and work for you or just to drive around on the weekends.

The Haynes Yamaha Kodiak Manual is a great manual and ATV. This ATV comes with plenty of power if you´re looking for an ATV that can haul or just go fast. This is a smaller framed ATV but it still has plenty of power and is above average for fuel economy. Some advantages of this ATV is that it starts quickly, drives great in the mud, is capable of hauling heavy things, it rides very well on tough terrain, it is very stable and does not feel tippy, even on hillsides, the seat is comfortable to ride, all controls are easy to reach, it has an option to switch between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, and the transmission has an easy to reach drain plug, if you happen to submerge your ATV in water. This ATV is an all around good ATV whether you will be using it to ride on tough terrain or carry heavy equipment. This ATV is definitely a lot better and reliable than a lot of it’s competitors.

The Yamaha Grizzly is not known to be a very dependable ATV and a Yamaha Grizzly repair manual is a must. If you buy this ATV, more than likely you will have to put in a lot of money to fixing it and it will probably be in the shop most of the time and you’ll hardly ever have a chance to ride it. One complaint about the Yamaha Grizzly is that it can accelerate on its own which is very dangerous whether you are on or off the ATV. This unexpected acceleration can cause damage to your ATV or if someone is on the ATV it can be very dangerous because you could fall off, or be driven away on at ATV out of your control. The frame can also break on this ATV and this can also be dangerous if it happens when you’re riding. This also costs a lot of money because it has to be welded back together. If this ATV sits for a long time it doesn’t start again and it can be difficult to find the problem. This is a horrible ATV that has a horrible tendency to break. It is also very dangerous. I would not suggest buying this ATV unless you want something that is going to break and put you in danger.

The Bombardier Outlander is another ATV that is known to have a lot of problems but there are several good Outlander repair manuals out there. This ATV has problems with the voltage regulator and the battery. The battery can fry and blow light bulbs. This costs a lot of money, especially if your warranty is up. This ATV is known to leave people stranded and having to walk many miles out of the woods is not fun, if you’re planning on a day of using your ATV. The few good things about this ATV is that it has a very comfortable seat and plenty of power. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend buying this ATV unless you want to be replacing the battery all the time, and not be able to use it without the fear of it leaving you stranded.

If you’re looking to buy a good, reliable ATV repair manual, then the Yamaha Kodiak is the only good option for you between these three ATV’s. Buying a Yamaha Grizzly or a Bombardier Outlander is not recommended because they tend to break a lot.

Off the road racing tires

May 25th, 2009

The Baja T/A is one of is kind and truly the best in its class. It can be used on and off roads in addition to being a premium radial tire. It is thick, robust and has awesome handling.

It is also more puncture resistant and has serious durability.

The tire exhibits outstanding performance on mud soil and is very silent and easy going during road or highway travel.

Due to its militant-like tread pattern the Baja T/A is capable of functioning on a wide range of very difficult dry,wet and rocky terrain. Full traction is available on wet surfaces.

The Baja T/A tires are a product of BF Goodrich. The Baja is not without its downsides one of which is its high price tag. Its not cheap and it shouldn’t be. You have to empty your wallet further but you will not be disappointed.

Baja T/A brands vary by quality however a popular brand is the Futura All Terrain.

This tire will give you the best performance for your sport utility or truck. From its appaerance, the tire means business.

It has a very commanding appearance. Install these tires on your favourite truck and tell everybody that you mean business. You don’t mess with those tires. If you’re light-hearted this tire is not for you. The BFG Baja T/A has six, thats right, six woven nylon plies in the sidewall. That means you can hit razor sharp rocks at 120 mph and the tire just absorbs it without the slightest of marks. Lets see if you can do the same with another tire. It will be short-lived.

To its credit this tire is quite easy on the wallet in the long run. It is not expensive and can be managed with little money.

Because of its ability to carry gravel in the tread blocks, the Baja T/A does have some limitations. gravel deflected from the tires can damage the painting on the vehicle. Although it suffers from minor issues, the Baja T/A is the tire for champions. Special features of the Baja T/A are:

1-Top notch and highly rated.

2-Tire is very resistant to wear and tear thanks to its six polyester nylon sidewalls.

3-Tread with a long life.

4-The best racing technology.

5-Intimidating visual.
